“Never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.”
Everyone has scars. Some may be literal scars from something like a burn or surgery, and some have mental scars from difficult times. Whether your scars are physical or mental, they represent your strength to overcome whatever hurt you. The scar on my stomach is a reminder that I was strong as a baby and overcame medical issues to be the person I am today. Scars can be ugly, but the way I see it, they are part of someone and they are a symbol of their strength and determination, and to me, that is one of the most beautiful things. Scars can also be a reminder from God of how you were able to get through what tried to hurt you. God gives us those reminders in ways we would never imagine. Take a break and think of what scars you have, mental or physical, and thank God for giving them to you as a reminder of how strong you are to overcome the trials of life.
