“Who I Am” by Blanca

Another voice, another choice
To listen to words somebody said
Another day
I replay
One too many doubts inside my head

Am I strong
Am I good enough
Do I belong
After all
That I’ve said and done
Is it real
When I feel
I don’t measure up
Am I loved

I’m running to the One who knows me
Who made every part of me in His hands
I’m holding to the One who holds me
‘Cause I know whose I am, I know who I am

I really like this song.  I first heard this song at Winter Jam last Friday.  Before she sang this, Blanca mentioned that she struggled with insecurities and fears and doubts about herself.  But she overcame them and wrote this song.  As someone who struggles with those things, this song speaks volumes.  God made us in His image and likeness and we are perfect just the way we are.  We are who we are because of God.  God made us just the way we are, flaws and all.  We can use the gifts and talents He gave us to glorify Him.  We are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).  Take a break today and listen to this song and remember that you are beautiful and handsome and amazing and perfect just the way you are.

God Bless!

I am sure I am Yours
